Artist Statement

Imagine death is another solo journey to the unknown, like the one we’ve been through. No one is fully ready but it taught us how life is short and irreversible. Cherish every moment in life and when the time comes, ride out.

Artist Bio

​Lu-An Shih (b. Taiwan 1994) is in second year of BFA at RMIT. Mostly spending time with oil paint, he works from photographs to explore the external environment and inner world. Painting is his language to express and reflect on himself.
